In this age when almost everything needs charging, most homes may have more than ten chargers, cords and cables lying on the table.
Isn’t it irritating when you cannot find the right charger right away?
In search for a solution to this millennial problem, I found the answer that is so easy to make 🙂
Gather the toilet paper rolls you have at home. Find an old shoe box. The number of toilet paper rolls depends on how big the shoe box you will be using for this project.
Untangle each cable and insert them in each toilet paper roll. You may want the end of each cable seen to easily know which cable you need to get from the box.
Place all the toilet paper rolls in the shoe box, lining them up.
You can either tape the paper rolls together for more stability. I prefer not sticking them together so I can get one roll with the cord at a time.
There might be space left for your plugs and connectors. Use a longer paper roll from used aluminum foil or cling wrap. Cut one side of the paper roll then insert the connectors and plugs.
Covering the shoe box will make it look nicer. Label as you wish!
Finding your cables and cords will be a lot easier than having them all tangled on your table!
The first photo reminded me when sometimes things get tangled in our lives. Then finding a way out or straightening things up seems difficult.
May be we just need time to untangle each strand of our worries and hang ups. I label the box RECHARGE, because sometimes that is what we need to do. Just sit still and take time to recharge.
We need to plug in to something more powerful than us when we are recharging. Reading the word from the Bible, for me is the best way to recharge my weak life-battery.
