Who else gets snail mail these days??? In this world of emails, smartphones, chat, FaceTime and so many more apps to send someone messages, snail mail is jurassic!
Maybe we all have forgotten how it feels to send snail mail. First, you write a note on a sheet of paper. Then, put it in an envelope. You need to buy stamps and finally your letter is good to go.
The waiting part is a rip off! My mail was sent last April and I got it July. That is why people will not resort to sending messages through postal system these days.
But it is a joy to receive one. It brings back a lot of memories (well, for me!) Opening the mail, not by clicking a button, is great.
I get mail once in a while. My husband sends me letters via mail every time he travels. Sweet!!!
Technology has changed how we communicate with each other. We can all agree that it has improved so much and made things easier for us. However, it made us want everything right away. We want things in a click of a button.
Snail mail reminds us that things can slow down a bit in a fast-paced world. And surely, patience is a virtue!
Try sending someone a snail mail today…you are sending more than a note but a surprise that will bring smile to someone’s face.
